- Hi guys,
- I just received the EnPrint 2.0 printer driver package for the Epson
- Stylus printer range. I have the Stylus Color 2 since X-mass and was
- printing with the EpsonQ-driver since then.
- But since yesterday ..... what a difference!
- The first time using Microweave ! no strip-structure whatsoever !
- In 360x360dpi normal paper .... great colors !
- Printing in 720x720 dpi .... whoops a bit wet the paper .... let's
- read the manual .... ahhhh you should select special paper as medium
- for that one (even with normal paper in there, just to reduce ink-spot
- size I guess ..) ..... there it is : My first color-print in 720x720
- with Microweave ! Definately better than the quality of the same
- printout I did on our Unix-machines at work with an HP-DJ850C !
- Then the final test: a sheet of special EPSON paper: Even better, the
- colors all seemed stronger, the whole picture less dark (the paper is
- just ultra-white ...) ... I'll put that one under glass in a
- picture-frame, that's for sure ....
- So all in all I'm satisfied with what I got for my money. If only Epson
- whould have that package with every printer .... I'm sure that the
- Stylus color 2 would be THE PRINTER for the Amiga!
- So the only thing I'm curious about now, is how does Turbo-Print
- Prof. or Print-Studio perform compared to EnPrint 2.0 ?
- Thanks Endicor/Eyetech ....
- Read you later
